Help Build the Engine Room of a Thriving Community Sector

Are you a system-builder, organiser, and big-picture thinker who loves making things work smoothly behind the scenes? We're looking for someone who can turn good ideas into well-oiled action — and help power the growth of a new, bold agency reshaping how the for-purpose and community sector in Te Tauihu collaborates, innovates, and creates impact.

About the role:

  • Coordinate delivery and project logistics across the workplan

  • Manage operational systems and task tracking

  • Lead financial oversight and reporting (in partnership with finance support)

  • Design and implement monitoring and evaluation systems

  • Support internal workflows and document management

  • Support sector back office efficiciency

Ideal skills:

  • Project coordination, logistics, and financial tracking

  • Monitoring and evaluation / reporting experience

  • Experience with digital tools (Google Suite, task tracking)

  • Comfort with kaupapa Māori and equity-grounded environments

Te Tauihu Community Development Agency (TTCDA) is a newly formed, dynamic agency driving a fresh approach to strengthening the for-purpose sector across Te Tauihu (the Top of the South). Established to spark innovation, collaboration, and collective impact, TTCDA is working alongside community organisations, iwi, and social enterprises to build the systems, connections, and capabilities needed for our sector to thrive. We're not here to do more of the same — we’re here to do things differently, champion community-led solutions, and create sustainable change that expands the impact of the entire for-purpose ecosystem.
