23 November: From Hidden to Healed - An Afternoon of Hope and Harmony - An afternoon celebrating resilience and supporting the vital work of Hamlin Fistula NZ. Chair Joli Wescombe will share the powerful story of Tesfanesh, an Ethiopian woman whose life was transformed after receiving treatment for devastating childbirth injuries. Her story is a poignant testament to the healing and hope that Hamlin Fistula brings to thousands of women dealing with this critical global health issue. The presentation will be accompanied by music from the Nelson Bays Harmony Chorus, setting a resonant backdrop for the inspiring stories. Attendees will also hear from Days for Girls, an organisation dedicated to advancing menstrual equity and health education worldwide. Koha on entry welcomed. 27 November: Mohua Parent Support Group - A safe space for parents/caregivers of neurodivergent children to connect and share knowledge. (1pm-2:30pm, Thursday 27 November, Mohua Social Services Community Centre, Tākaka)
28 November: Free Story Writing Workshop - Tasman Community Flood Stories Join Katie (TDC Flood Navigator) and Janine (Librarian) for a cuppa, biscuits and friendly tips to help you start writing your flood story. You can bring a laptop or tablet, or pen and paper, and begin your story writing in the session if you feel like it. If you prefer to just chat and pick up ideas, that is fine too. It will be a calm, safe and friendly space and everyone is welcome. (10am-12pm, 28 November, Te Noninga Kumu Motueka Library)
29 November: Motueka Multicultural Collage - Join in a multicultural collage event led by artists from Peru and Mexico. Light refreshments. All ages and drop-ins welcome. (10am-1pm, 29 November, Te Noninga Kumu Motueka Library) motueka@multiculturalnt.co.nz
1 December: Catalytic Thinking Training with creator Hildy Gottlieb - Catalytic Thinking is a powerful yet simple method to be radically inclusive, focus on people, embrace collective enoughness and find new possibilities to create transformative change. It was shaped by lessons from social change efforts and informed by neuroscience - focused on how to create connection and unlock collective creativity. More info.

REAP Connected Families Coffee Group - Marlborough Come along, meet other parents and enjoy a relaxed morning of coffee, conversation and connection with your little ones. The group will meet every Tuesday at 9.30am (during term time) at Plunket, 16 Henry Street, Blenheim. All families are welcome - we can’t wait to see you there! More info.

Community Garden Working Bee - Tapawera Working bees are held from 9am-1pm on the first Sunday of each month and volunteers can also work at times when it suits them. More info.
